The raw materials for production are scraps from the production of wooden spatulas. This means the filler is made of birch and alder. All other similar fillers are made of spruce, which means they contain resins that interfere with absorption and because of the resin they cannot be flushed down the toilet so as not to create a blockage. Our filler is free of these shortcomings. Birch and alder are soft woods and do not contain resins. Therefore, they have high moisture absorption and can be flushed down the toilet. In the toilet, the pellet breaks up into many small particles - this is the advantage of the absence of resin. Why doesn’t anyone produce birch filler except us since it’s so good?? The reason is economic. Birch and alder wood are MORE EXPENSIVE than regular spruce, which means the final product will be EXPENSIVE. Our raw materials are a by-product of another production - the production of spatulas. This is the reason why only here and nowhere else can you buy premium litter at such a low price.
