Hello everyone! I want to share my experience of how to achieve perfectly clear water in the pool using a minimum of chemicals, so that children can swim.

We have an inflatable pool 3m x 91cm = 6 tons of water, a simple cartridge filter. This year the wells failed, so we filled it very slowly, almost a month. Because of this, the first three weeks we could not turn on the filter - the water simply did not reach the level of the drain hose. The result is deplorable - the pool bloomed. The turbid green opaque liquid was not conducive to swimming at all:

After searching various forums, I found the topic Pool cleaner “Atomic oxygen”. I didn’t want to mess around with chlorine, because it’s more harmful and more hassle. We decided to give it a try.

We bought it on Barabashka on an old iron shed. The instructions say 5 liters for 3 tons, but we have a 6-ton pool, so we decided to pour 2 into bottles - it looked really dirty. Almost immediately, all sorts of crap started rising from the bottom - I spent two hours running around the pool with a net, catching it. We turned on the filter at night, and in the morning we saw the following:

Another little tip: rolls of non-woven towels are sold in the supermarket. I tear off 5-7 pieces along the perforation and wrap the resulting tape around the filter. I change it 1-2 times a day. It helps wonderfully, a cartridge wouldn't have done the job.

The kids enjoy swimming (the water is 32 degrees now), they swallowed the water several times - no reaction.

I poured the product in twice (a month later I added another two liters).

The only thing I want to add: it is better to replace the cartridge filter with a sand filter. It is certainly more expensive, but it also purifies the water much better - our filter only works a few hours a day and the water is crystal clear without any tricks.

Resuscitation of a green country pool .

No matter how hard I tried to cover the garden children's pool with black film during the day, no matter how hard I protected it from rainwater, the water turned green without chemical reagents. After a week of heavy rains, I opened the awning and gasped - the water was emerald green, and there was a thick layer of green turbidity on the bottom and walls. The weather was warm, the water in the pool warmed up. Draining 2 tons of water, washing the pool with a brush and filling it again seemed like torture and a waste of time. I decided to find a way to fight the greenery once and for all.

And I found a way to fight it with Atomic Oxygen. I liked the product. I even thought about buying a huge full-size pool next year, since the greenery in the water is no longer scary to me.

Now in more detail, what I got. I decided not to drain the green water on principle for the sake of an experiment.

I calculated the amount of product for the volume of my pool. For 1800 liters * 715 grams = 2700 grams based on the calculation (1500 grams of the product per 1000 liters).

Using rubber gloves, I poured it evenly around the perimeter into the water.

I didn't notice anything special. After 12 hours, in the morning the water was still green, but a less intense green sediment, as it seemed to me.
